Hotels near Quebec Jean Lesage International Airport
Sainte-Foy (airport area)
The hotels in the area are on boulevard Wilfrid-Hamel, 5-6 minutes by car or taxi from the terminal; there don't appear to be dedicated free shuttles, the budget alternative is the RTC public bus line 76.
Best for: Early morning departures, single-night layovers, or those arriving by car who prefer not to deal with traffic into downtown.
- Just a few minutes from the terminal, convenient for those with an early morning flight
- Boulevard Wilfrid-Hamel offers chain restaurants and shops for dinner without going too far
- A commercial area along a fast-flowing road, not well suited to walking in the evening
- Visiting Vieux-Québec still requires a 20-25 minute transfer by car or taxi
Recommended hotels
- Clarion Pointe Quebec Airport On boulevard Wilfrid-Hamel in Sainte-Foy, about 6 minutes by car from the terminal; hot breakfast included, free parking and an electric car charging station. View availability

Vieux-Québec and Grande Allée
The Hilton Quebec is a short walk from the Parliament and the Citadelle, with a covered walkway linking it to the Centre des congrès; the walls of Vieux-Québec and the Château Frontenac are 10-15 minutes on foot. The rue Cook loft is already inside the walls, a short walk from rue Saint-Jean. From the airport the transfer is 20-25 minutes by taxi or rideshare; by public bus (RTC line 80 towards downtown, then a short transfer) it easily takes over 45-60 minutes.
Best for: Travellers who want to explore the old town on foot and accept a longer transfer from the airport in exchange for not needing a car once there.
- Once in the area, everything is covered on foot: Château Frontenac, Terrasse Dufferin and the Petit-Champlain neighbourhood are a few minutes' walk away
- The Hilton Quebec is linked to the Centre des congrès and a short walk from the Parliament, convenient for those in town for work or conferences
- The streets inside the walls are cobbled and slope between the upper and lower town, not very practical with heavy suitcases
- From the airport there's no direct train or express bus: a taxi, rideshare or an RTC bus with a transfer is needed
Recommended hotels
- Hilton Quebec At 1100 boulevard René-Lévesque Est, linked by a covered walkway to the Centre des congrès de Québec; the Parliament, the Citadelle and the walls of Vieux-Québec are reachable on foot in 10-15 minutes. View availability
- 001 Cook - Loft in the Heart of Old Quebec Apartment at 10 rue Cook, inside the walls of Vieux-Québec and a short walk from rue Saint-Jean, the shopping and restaurant street of the upper town; part of a series of similar units in the same building managed by the same host. View availability
