Lengpui Airport: where to stay, areas and recommended hotels

Lengpui is an isolated airport on a hilltop about 32-37 km from Aizawl, reachable only in 60-90 minutes along winding mountain roads: there are no useful facilities around the terminal, so overnight stays are always in the city. Aizawl itself is spread across ridges and steep slopes, so the best addresses are the central ones, in the Chite/Falkland and Electric Veng neighbourhoods, from where the return taxi to the airport is also arranged well in advance.
