How to get to Milano Linate Airport

Access to the airport has become extremely quick thanks to the opening of the new M4 metro line.

By Car

Accessible via the Eastern Ring Road of Milan (Linate exit). Its proximity to the city center makes it easily accessible also via Viale Forlanini.

By Train

Metro (line M4, Blue): directly connects the airport to Milan's city center (San Babila) in less than 15 minutes; there is no traditional rail connection, as Linate is served only by the subway.

By Bus

Various bus lines connect Linate with the Central Station and other areas, but the subway is now the main transport mode.
💡
Tips Metro M4 is the fastest and most economical way to reach the center, completely avoiding urban traffic: standard ATM ticket, also purchasable via app. If you need to reach Malpensa for a connection, arrange transfer via the city—no direct shuttle exists between the two airports.
