Sheremetyevo → Belorussky Station

The Aeroexpress ends inside Belorussky railway station, from which regional trains also depart toward Smolensk and the Belarusian border; the station shares a building with the Belorusskaya metro station, served by the Circle and Zamoskvoretskaya lines.

Sheremetyevo → Red Square and Kremlin

From Belorusskaya, just four stops on the Zamoskvoretskaya line take you to Teatralnaya, steps away from Red Square and the Kremlin: less than an hour from the airport, transfer included.

Sheremetyevo → Moscow-City

The skyscraper district of the Moscow International Business Center is reached by transferring at Belorusskaya to Mezhdunarodnaya or Vystavochnaya; travelers with heavy luggage often prefer a taxi instead, which takes about 45–55 minutes depending on traffic on the MKAD.

Sheremetyevo → Rechnoy Vokzal / Planernaya

For those staying in the northern part of the city or arriving after Aeroexpress service ends (the last train runs in the evening), buses 851 and 817 remain active until after midnight and drop you directly at metro entrances.

Car rental at Sheremetyevo International Airport

Only some car rental operators have a desk on arrival.

Bring your driver's license, passport, and cash; verify in advance that your international credit card will actually be accepted, as many payment networks have been suspended since 2022.

Hotels near Sheremetyevo International Airport

Sheremetyevo is about 29 km from central Moscow and the Aeroexpress reaches Belorusskaya in 35 minutes, but the last train leaves in the evening and at night you are left with a taxi and the MKAD ring road traffic. That is why, with a dawn flight or after a late arrival, it makes sense to sleep on the side of terminals D, E and F, where two hotels stand next to the Aeroexpress station. If you have a few days, you can go straight into the city: the train drops your bags in the very centre and the metro reaches Red Square in a few minutes. Travellers heading to terminals B and C need one more Aeroexpress leg.
