Hotels near Taiyuan Wusu Airport

Since 22 February 2025, metro line 1 has crossed the entire city from end to end, with Wusu airport at one terminus: 24 stations and almost 29 km that take in both Xiaodian district, where the airport is, and Taiyuan's historic railway station. The airport is just 13 km as the crow flies from the centre, so even those who need to catch an early flight can stay in either area without losing too much time in transfer. Xiaodian, the airport district, is also the city's newest business and commercial quarter; the historic centre around the station still remains the handiest base for anyone who wants to go out on foot in the evening.
