Those with only a short layover find a chain hotel a few minutes from the terminal; those staying longer almost always choose Gulberg, the most central district for restaurants and shopping. Beware of the many local hotels using names like "Premier Inn" or "Westin" with no connection to the international chains of the same name: in Lahore they are independent brands, not Whitbread or Marriott properties.
