Cayenne-Rochambeau Airport: where to stay, areas and recommended hotels
Cayenne-Rochambeau Airport: where to stay, areas and recommended hotels
Félix Eboué-Rochambeau has no rail or bus link to Cayenne: taxi is the only option for the 13.5 km separating the airport from the centre, about 30 minutes. For most stays the historic centre of Cayenne remains the most practical base, with Place des Palmistes and the covered market within walking distance of the main hotels. Travellers who prefer a bigger pool and a few minutes to the beach nearby can move towards Montjoly, accepting they will still depend on a taxi for every trip, including the ride back to the airport.
