Cherif Al Idrissi Airport: where to stay, areas and recommended hotels

The airport is about 17 km south-east of central Al Hoceima, between Asgar and Imzouren: there's no bus to the city, only taxis to be haggled over on the spot (about 150 MAD, no meter). Those aiming for a beach resort find the best properties in the bay of Sfiha, a few minutes from the terminal but far from the centre; those who want the real city, with the Corniche and Quemado beach, must instead continue on to Al Hoceima.
