Dushanbe International Airport: where to stay, areas and recommended…

Dushanbe Airport is among the closest to the centre on this list: just 5-8 km from the Rudaki Avenue junction, reachable by taxi in 10-15 minutes for 5-15 dollars. This makes any choice between an 'airport area' and 'the city' pointless: almost all of Dushanbe's international-standard hotels are already within a quarter of an hour of the terminal, facing onto Rudaki Avenue itself or a block away, close to the national museums and the city park.
