El Eden Airport: where to stay, areas and recommended hotels

El Edén is in La Tebaida, about 15 km and 20-25 minutes from Armenia, in the heart of the Eje Cafetero. The region has no real international hotel chains: travellers flying in for coffee country or for Salento, another 35-45 minutes further on, almost always stay in one of the large family-run guesthouses with pools dotted around La Tebaida, a few minutes from the terminal and built for groups rather than solo travellers.
