Halim Perdanakusuma International Airport: where to stay, areas and recommended hotels
Halim Perdanakusuma International Airport: where to stay, areas and recommended hotels
Halim Perdanakusuma is Jakarta's smallest and most central airport, used mainly for domestic flights: it lies east of the city, about 12 km from the centre, much closer than Soekarno-Hatta. Without traffic the trip to the business districts of Kuningan or Sudirman takes 30-45 minutes along Jalan Sudirman and Jalan MH Thamrin, but during rush hour (7-9 and 17-20) it can exceed an hour and a half. Those travelling for business and flying from Halim therefore find it more convenient to base themselves in Kuningan or Sudirman rather than on the outskirts, since the extra distance to the real city centre is minimal.
Kuningan and Sudirman, the business district

Cons
