Hammerfest Airport: where to stay, areas and recommended hotels

Hammerfest airport is about 4 km from the city centre, 5-10 minutes by taxi or local bus: central Hammerfest is almost always the more convenient choice, with the harbour, the Reconstruction Museum and the restaurants all within walking distance. There are no valid alternatives closer to the airport: the town itself, gathered around the harbour, is already the point of reference for anyone passing through here.
