Marina Di Campo Airport: where to stay, areas and recommended hotels

Elba airport sits in the heart of Marina di Campo, just steps from the sea and the beaches of Cavoli and Seccheto: most flights, especially the seasonal ones, arrive and depart within a few hours of daylight, so staying nearby avoids crossing the island with luggage. Those with more days to spare can instead split their stay between Capoliveri, on the south-eastern side with the beaches of the Innamorata, and Rio Marina, facing the sea in the north-east amid former mines and red-sand beaches, on the opposite side of the island from the terminal.

  • Cavoli, Seccheto and Fetovaia beaches a few minutes by car
Cons
  • In high season the roads in the area congest quickly
  • Few evening services outside the centre of Marina di Campo
