Sandnessjøen Airport, Stokka: where to stay, areas and recommended hotels
Stokka airport is about 12-13 km from central Sandnessjøen, 15-20 minutes by car; a flybuss links the two areas to coincide with flights, otherwise you take a taxi. In town the hotels all face the Alstenfjord, with views of the famous Syv Søstre, the "seven sisters" that give the mountain range its name. There are no alternatives near the runway, so the choice comes down to two or three addresses in central Sandnessjøen.
