Vitoria/Foronda Airport: where to stay, areas and recommended hotels

Vitoria-Gasteiz is an airport with very few passenger flights and schedules that are almost never at night, so the choice depends more on the itinerary of the visit than on the flight. Those who are only stopping for work in the industrial area of Júndiz find it convenient to stay a few minutes from the terminal. Those who instead want to enjoy the medieval Casco Viejo, the museums and the bars can head into the city without worry: the airport is just 8 km away, with a bus dedicated to every flight and a taxi that takes a quarter of an hour. For a different stay, in the Elorriaga neighbourhood you can sleep in a sixteenth-century palace overlooking the Salburua park.
