Wenzhou Yongqiang Airport: where to stay, areas and recommended hotels

Wenzhou was the first city in Zhejiang to connect its airport to the urban network with no changes: metro line S1 has a station inside the terminal and reaches Huimin Road, in the city centre, in about 20 minutes. For those working in the new Binjiang business district, on the other bank of the Oujiang river, it still takes about 25 minutes by car from the airport, since line S1 doesn't cover that area.

Longwan district

Airport area · Free hotel shuttle in about 8 minutes (Marriott) or 3.5 km by car with airport transfer included on request (Park Inn).

Best for: Those with an early morning flight or a meeting near the airport who want to avoid the traffic towards Binjiang.

Pros

Longwan district is mostly industrial, with little to do on foot in the evening

Best for: Those who want Wenzhou's newest business district, with views of the Oujiang river, and accept a transfer by road only.
