Mumbai: the right lounge by terminal, level and flight
Mumbai's lounges do not belong to the airlines: almost all of them are run by independent operators such as Adani and Travel Club, and many accept access cards or paid entry. More than the brand, then, it is the route that matters: the terminal, the level of Terminal 2 and the type of flight decide which doors you can open, and a few lounges stay open all night.
At Terminal 1 the lounges are all on the side of domestic flights. The Adani Lounge occupies the mezzanine above the food court, in the gate 9-20 area, while the Travel Club Lounge, opposite gate 22, stays open day and night, serves a buffet with Jain options and has a paid bar, as well as massage chairs. In both you enter with the main access cards or by paying, but the stay is limited.
At Terminal 2 the level matters. Level 4 is the level for international departures: the Adani Lounge (Eastern Wing), near gates 45-46 and next to McDonald's, welcomes those with Priority Pass, DragonPass or an eligible American Express card, and those who pay for entry. It stays open at all hours, includes some alcoholic drinks and allows a longer stay than the domestic lounges. The Adani Lounge (Western Wing), towards gates 30-38, is instead reserved for those flying in first class or Premium Business on an international flight.

If you take a domestic flight from Terminal 2 you stay on level 3. The Travel Club Lounge, opposite gates 44-45, is the twin of the one at Terminal 1, with a Jain buffet, a paid bar and continuous opening; the Adani Lounge (Domestic), near gate 44, accepts DragonPass or paid entry and serves hot dishes. As for American Express's The Centurion Lounge, on the same level, it is closed until further notice: in the meantime Platinum holders can use the Adani Lounge and Centurion members the lounge of the Coco Club restaurant.
If you are looking for a massage more than a sofa there is the Meghavi Air SpaLounge, with a spa, a beauty salon and showers, in a domestic version on level 3 and an international one on level 4. Here, though, you pay for the treatment, not for the stay: it is a wellness centre more than a waiting room.
On level 2, in the arrivals area, the Aviserv lounges are designed for those landing in Mumbai and they never close either. The Aviserv Lounge (Western Wing), at exit A, has sleeping pods, showers and a spa; the Aviserv Lounge (Eastern Wing), at exit C, has showers and a bar. Entry is covered by Priority Pass, DragonPass and eligible American Express cards, while showers and pods are paid separately.
To sum up, for a domestic flight from Terminal 1 the Travel Club Lounge is the most flexible choice, because it never closes; from Terminal 2 you choose between its twin and the Adani Lounge on level 3. For an international flight with an access card the reference is the Adani Lounge (Eastern Wing), while first class and Premium Business have the Western Wing. If you arrive and want a shower or a few hours of sleep, head for the Aviserv lounges on the arrivals level, bearing in mind that the services are paid separately.
