Bergerac-Roumanière Airport: where to stay, areas and recommended hotels
Bergerac-Roumanière Airport: where to stay, areas and recommended hotels
Bergerac-Dordogne-Périgord airport is a few kilometres southeast of the city: by taxi you reach the centre in about 10 minutes, and bus line 7 covers the same route. With such a small airport, there's no point staying isolated: those arriving or leaving by train find it convenient to sleep near the station, while those who want to enjoy the lanes of old Bergerac and its half-timbered houses do better to choose the centre straight away, around Place Gambetta. Those travelling by car who prefer easy parking can instead look at the hotels on the road to Bordeaux, just outside the centre.
