Burgas Airport: where to stay, areas and recommended hotels

Burgas Airport is just 10 km from the city centre, reachable by taxi in about 20 minutes or by bus line 15A in 35-45 minutes: unlike many seaside destinations, here the centre and the beach almost entirely overlap, with the Sea Garden separating the pedestrian streets of the centre from the dark, magnetite-rich sand. There is no real "airport" hotel zone: even travelers arriving late or departing early end up choosing accommodation in town, just a few minutes' walk from the sea. Those continuing on to Sunny Beach, about 30-40 minutes further north, will find an entirely different kind of tourist offer there, worth considering separately.
