Lanseria Airport: where to stay, areas and recommended hotels

Lanseria serves the north of Johannesburg — Sandton, Fourways, Randburg — and is a completely different airport from O.R. Tambo: some listings on Booking.com described as 'Johannesburg Airport' actually refer to O.R. Tambo, more than an hour's drive from here, and should be avoided by anyone flying from Lanseria. Those with just one night can stay a few minutes from the terminal; those who need to reach Sandton or Fourways for work will find chain hotels half an hour by car away, closer to the northern suburbs than O.R. Tambo is.
