Those with a dawn flight or who just need to stop for one night find it more convenient to stay near the terminal; those who want to see Liège, with its Calatrava-designed station and historic center on the Meuse, do better to choose a hotel in the city, keeping in mind that on weekends there's no bus to the airport.
