Charles de Gaulle, lounge by lounge: how to find your way
At Charles de Gaulle the lounge is almost always chosen according to the airline you fly with. Terminal 2E is the territory of Air France, Terminal 1 gathers the lounges of Qatar Airways, Lufthansa and Star Alliance, and anyone with neither a premium ticket nor status has a narrower offer than expected, especially with Priority Pass.
The first knot is the terminal. Terminal 2 is divided into sections marked by a letter, from 2A to 2G, and almost all the lounges are after security of their own section: a lounge in 2E is meant for those departing from 2E, not for those boarding in 2F. So, first of all, it pays to look at the boarding pass.
If you fly Air France or another SkyTeam airline in business, or hold Flying Blue Gold or Platinum or SkyTeam Elite Plus status, you are spoilt for choice in 2E: there are lounges in Halls K, L and M. Each has spa treatments; the Hall K lounge has been renovated from top to bottom and was unveiled in April 2025, the Hall L one adds showers, and the Hall M one closes in the afternoon, much earlier than the others, so it is designed for morning departures. La Première passengers have a lounge of their own with a dedicated entrance near Hall K and table service.
All-you-can-eat buffet and a shower that can be purchased together with entry.

For Schengen flights Air France has the lounge in 2F, with showers and spa, and a smaller lounge in 2G. Anyone going to Europe in business with Air France, in short, finds their lounge outside 2E too, but the services vary quite a lot from one section to another.
In Terminal 1 the choice depends on the alliance. The Qatar Airways Premium Lounge, on the eleventh floor, welcomes first and business class passengers of Qatar and the oneworld airlines. The Star Alliance Lounge, opened in October 2023 on the third floor, is for Star Alliance business, Gold status holders and United Club and Maple Leaf Club members. The Lufthansa Business and Senator Lounge, in the basement of Satellite 6, is valid only for Schengen departures. In Terminal 2C, on the other hand, the Emirates Lounge offers showers with VOYA products and a view of the runway to premium passengers and Skywards Gold and Platinum members.
And what about those with none of these credentials? The Extime lounges are the most direct answer: one in Terminal 1 and one shared by the departures of 2B and 2D, reached with the connecting lift. You get in by paying, and a shower can be bought along with the entry; in Terminal 1 business passengers of some partner airlines get in free.
Among the lounges listed, Priority Pass opens only the YotelAir in 2E, which is less a lounge than a hotel in the airport with showers and spaces for a short stop: it also accepts eligible American Express cards and stays open all night, but it is reserved for those departing or transiting on non-Schengen flights and the stay is limited. It is reached with the internal shuttle towards the L gates.
At Charles de Gaulle the choice starts from the boarding pass: the terminal and the section determine which lounges are really reachable. With a premium ticket or status, the lounge is that of your airline or alliance, and in 2E Air France offers the widest range, spa included. Without credentials, the way is to pay the entry to an Extime lounge; with Priority Pass alone there remains the YotelAir, provided you fly outside the Schengen area.
