Don Mueang airport lounges: which one to pick between T1 and T2
At Don Mueang, lounges are organised across two terminals, the international and the domestic one, with an offering that repeats almost like a mirror between the two sides: the same lounge families, with the same features, appear on both. The difference lies mainly in which cards or programmes are accepted, more than in the services each lounge offers.
In the international terminal, the most open choice is the two branches of the Miracle Lounge brand, which accept Priority Pass, LoungeKey, DragonPass and Diners Club, besides direct payment for anyone without any of these: they are also the only ones with a shower among their services, and they stay open without interruption day and night. The Travel Club Lounge and the Coral Executive Lounge, instead, only accept Priority Pass: the latter stands out for a short shoulder massage included in the entry, while the former pairs a cold buffet with an à la carte service including alcoholic drinks, staying open without interruption for those departing or arriving at particularly unusual flight times.

The domestic terminal repeats the same scheme on a smaller scale. There is again a Miracle Lounge, identical in accepted programmes and services to the international ones, and a Coral Forest Lounge that keeps the shoulder massage of its namesake, still reserved for those with Priority Pass. Those flying with Nok Air instead find a lounge dedicated to the airline, with an air-conditioned setting built for a simple wait rather than for extra services such as a bar or hot buffet.
The choice, then, comes down to a few questions: do you only have Priority Pass, or also LoungeKey, DragonPass or a Diners Club card? In the first case, the Coral family or the Travel Club are enough, and the choice between the two comes down to personal taste: a fuller meal with the Travel Club, or a moment of relaxation with the massage at the Coral. In the second case, the Miracle lounges remain the most flexible option, especially for those who also want a shower before a long flight, or simply prefer not having to check in advance which card each lounge accepts.
In short, at Don Mueang the difference between lounges is less about the terminal than about the access programme: those with only Priority Pass can count on more than one option on both sides of the airport, but only the Miracle lounges also open to those who pay directly or hold LoungeKey, DragonPass and Diners Club, besides offering a shower. Those flying with Nok Air, on the other hand, will find it convenient to stay in their own airline's lounge in the domestic terminal, with no need to go elsewhere for an alternative, since the other lounges in the domestic terminal still require a specific access programme or payment on site.
