Lisbon Airport lounges: which one to choose between TAP and ANA
In Lisbon, the choice of lounge depends above all on two factors: are you flying Schengen or non-Schengen, and do you already have access through a programme such as Priority Pass or DragonPass? The answers almost always point to a different lounge among those in Terminal 1.
Those flying from the Schengen side with access through Priority Pass or equivalent programmes look first to the ANA Lounge, run directly by the airport: it also accepts DragonPass, Business passengers of several partner airlines (including Qatar Airways, Air France, Iberia, Air Europa, Azul and LATAM), Visa Airport Companion holders, as well as a single paid entry for those who do not fall into any of these categories. The downside is that during the busiest hours, between early morning and early afternoon, entry can be refused for lack of seats even to those entitled to free access: an unpleasant surprise for anyone arriving at the last minute counting solely on that free-entry right.

ANA Lounge
Above the shopping area of Terminal 1, upper level reachable by escalator or lift, after the security checks
Run directly by ANA, it has a runway view thanks to its elevated position above the shopping area. During peak hours, between early morning and early afternoon, entry can be refused for lack of seats even to those entitled to free access.
Hours
04:00-23:00
Free entry with Priority Pass and DragonPass, subject to seat availability; for Business passengers of several partner airlines (including Qatar Airways, Air France, Iberia, Air Europa, Azul, LATAM) and for Visa Airport Companion holders. A single paid entry is also available. Maximum stay 3 hours.

TAP Premium Lounge Tejo
Floor 6, Schengen side of Terminal 1
TAP Air Portugal's main lounge in Lisbon, it has 320 seats and a bar service absent in its twin, the Atlântico.
Hours
05:00-24:00
Entry for TAP and Star Alliance Business passengers, TAP Miles&Go Gold, Silver and Navigator members, holders of Star Alliance Gold status and TAP Platinum Visa cards. Single paid entry from 25 EUR, or 4,950 Miles&Go miles.
Without windows, the lounge near gates 7-13 of Terminal 1 offers a food range limited to pastries, sandwiches and hot drinks.
When operational, entry with Priority Pass and DragonPass, by invitation from certain airlines, or with a paid booking from around 27 EUR.
No lounges match this filter.
Those flying with TAP instead, or holding Star Alliance Gold status, find two twin but not identical lounges. The TAP Premium Lounge Tejo, on the Schengen side, has a bar service that is missing in the TAP Premium Lounge Atlântico, reserved solely for non-Schengen traffic: the choice between the two, in this case, is not really a choice, because it simply depends on where you are boarding that day. Both welcome TAP Business passengers, members of the higher tiers of the Miles&Go programme and holders of the TAP Platinum Visa card, and offer a single entry even to those who prefer to pay instead of using accumulated miles.
The fourth option, the Blue Lounge near gates 7-13, is currently temporarily closed: when operational, it welcomes those with Priority Pass or DragonPass, or those who book a paid entry, but with a simpler food offer than the other lounges, consisting of pastries, sandwiches and hot drinks in a windowless setting. For those without either programme, it still remains a cheaper alternative to the TAP lounges once it reopens.
In short, in Lisbon the starting point is always your own route: those flying non-Schengen have only the TAP Atlântico as a dedicated option, while those flying Schengen can choose between the ANA Lounge, TAP Tejo and, once it reopens, the Blue Lounge. Those holding Priority Pass or DragonPass have more room to choose than those relying only on TAP or Star Alliance status, but it is always worth considering expected crowding, since even free entry is not always guaranteed at peak hours at the ANA Lounge. Those travelling with TAP, on the other hand, can count on more predictable access, provided they know in advance which side of passport control they will depart from on that specific day.
