Montréal-Trudeau airport lounges: which one by zone

At Montréal-Trudeau, lounges are split mainly by flight type: the domestic zone, the international one and the US-bound one each have their own offering, often without overlap. The Aspire Lounge comes in two versions, Air Canada has a Maple Leaf Lounge for every zone, while the Desjardins Odyssey and National Bank cards open the doors to dedicated lounges.
The first question to ask at Montréal-Trudeau is where you're flying, not with which airline: the domestic zone's Aspire Lounge, between gates 1 and 2, accepts Priority Pass, DragonPass and the right American Express cards, plus paid entry; its twin in the international zone, past customs control, follows the same rules but is reserved for those flying outside Canada and the United States, with a small discount for children and free admission for Air Canada business passengers. Anyone flying to the United States, though, finds neither one.

National Bank Lounge

Near gate 53

While the renovation is underway, National Bank World Elite Mastercard cardholders and Priority Pass/DragonPass passengers are directed to the temporary lounge on the same floor.

Closed since 31 July 2026 for a complete renovation. Since 1 August 2026, a temporary lounge with basic services operates in its place, on the same floor, 05:00-21:00 every day.

Air Canada has a Maple Leaf Lounge in each of the three zones, but no Priority Pass in any of them: the domestic one is about to reopen after a complete renovation, the international one has a closing time that changes depending on the day of the week, longer on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, and the US-bound one is the first of the three to open. Anyone with a Desjardins Odyssey card instead finds two different lounges, one in the international zone and one in the US-bound one, newer than the other and with a hot and cold buffet accompanied by beers and spirits, with free visits that vary by card tier. The Air France-KLM lounge, run by Plaza Premium, opens only in the late afternoon but offers a champagne-themed setting with shower-equipped bathrooms, reserved for those flying business with the two airlines or holding the right Amex or Visa Infinite card. A special case is the National Bank Lounge, closed for a complete renovation: in its place, on the same floor, a temporary lounge with basic services already operates, open every day to the same cardholders and to Priority Pass and DragonPass passengers who would otherwise use the permanent location.
At Montréal-Trudeau, it's worth starting from the type of flight even before the airline: between Canada, abroad and the United States, both the Aspire Lounges and Air Canada's Maple Leaf Lounges change, and neither follows the same rules in every zone. Anyone with a Desjardins Odyssey or National Bank card finds dedicated lounges, even though the National Bank one is for now replaced by a temporary location. For a late-afternoon business flight to Europe, the Air France-KLM lounge remains the most distinctive choice, thanks to its champagne theme.
