Hotels near Kaohsiung International Airport

Kaohsiung's metro (red line) reaches the terminal and takes you to Formosa Boulevard, in the heart of the city, in 18 minutes for a ticket of just NT$35: for most stays it's best to stay in the centre, with no need for a hotel near the runways. This guide does not include airport hotels: none of the verified candidates is within a few minutes of the terminal, so even for short layovers the most practical solution remains a hotel on the red line, just one stop away. The areas below correspond to the line's most convenient stops: Formosa Boulevard for nightlife and the Liuhe market, Kaohsiung Station for those also arriving by train, and Central Park/Sanduo for the modern shopping of the business district.
