Morocco: main airports
Morocco is served by numerous airports: Casablanca Mohammed V, the country's main hub, Marrakech Menara, Fes Saïss, Tangier Ibn Battouta, Agadir Al Massira, Rabat-Salé, as well as the regional airports of Nador, Al Hoceima, Oujda, Ouarzazate, Errachidia and Tan Tan.
The country offers a unique variety of landscapes: historic medinas, the Atlas mountain range, Sahara dunes and coasts on both the Atlantic and the Mediterranean.

Morocco: visa and entry requirements
Citizens of the EU, UK, US and Canada do not need a tourist visa for stays of up to 90 days.
A passport with at least 6 months of remaining validity is required. No additional document needs to be applied for online before departure for these nationalities.
Morocco: safety
Morocco is generally safe for visitors, with violent crime contained in tourist areas.
In the medinas it is common to be approached by fake guides or persistent vendors: decline politely but firmly. Always check your country's updated travel advisories, especially for excursions into the desert or near the borders.
Morocco: health situation
No mandatory vaccinations are required for entry from Europe. It is advisable to drink bottled water and pay attention to food hygiene, especially in the souks and street stalls.
For excursions into the Sahara or the Atlas, bring adequate sun protection and stay well hydrated, given the temperature swings between day and night.
Morocco: currency, payments and connectivity
The currency is the Moroccan dirham (MAD), non-exportable: exchange any remaining currency before leaving the country, or at the airport itself.
The official languages are Arabic and Tamazight (Berber), with French widely used in commerce and administration; English is common in tourist areas. The 'grand taxis' (white, regulated fares) connect airports to cities; the 'petit taxis' (colour-coded by city) serve urban travel.
