Bangalore lounges: which one to choose before flying
Travellers departing from Bangalore find a whole group of lounges run by the airport under the 080 brand, spread across the two terminals according to the type of flight, plus a flag carrier's lounge and an option built only for those who want to rest before a long or overnight flight. The choice depends on the departure terminal, the type of flight and how much time is left before boarding.
The four 080 brand lounges, run by Travel Food Services and the Bangalore airport, cover most needs. At Terminal 1 there's the 080 Domestic Lounge, above the Swarovski store and opposite the Fossil store, with a private cinema room, a prayer space and a work area with computer stations. At Terminal 2, where part of the domestic traffic has been moved, there's a second 080 Domestic Lounge, simpler than its twin at Terminal 1.

Anyone flying an international route from Terminal 2 instead has the 080 International Lounge, awarded by Skytrax as the best Asian lounge in its category; anyone just connecting between two flights finds the 080 Arrival Lounge in the arrivals hall, designed for those with little time who just want a light meal. In all the 080 lounges, entry with Priority Pass or LoungeKey is the most common route, along with payment by the main Indian and international credit cards.
For those who really want to sleep there's the T1 Lounge (Kerbside), run by Aviserv under the SleepIn brand: it's located landside, just outside the arrivals area of Terminal 1, and offers rest pods bookable by the hour, designed for those with a long or overnight layover who would rather actually sleep than simply sit in a common lounge.
Anyone flying with Air India in Business, or holding Flying Returns Platinum or Gold status, instead finds the Air India Maharaja Lounge at Terminal 2, next to the entrance of the domestic 080 brand lounge: it took over from the previous paid Qila lounge and offers an à la carte service with a view over the apron. Access also applies to Star Alliance Gold members when flying specifically with Air India, not just to those with a ticket or status with the Indian carrier.
The most practical difference remains the terminal: those departing from Terminal 1 have a single 080 lounge with more services, those departing from Terminal 2 can choose between the domestic one, the international one or the lounge designed for connecting passengers. Those flying Business with Air India have a dedicated option right at Terminal 2, while anyone just looking for a place to sleep before an overnight flight finds the most suitable solution in the SleepIn Lounge run by Aviserv, outside the arrivals area of Terminal 1.
