Røssvoll airport is about 13 km from central Mo i Rana, a good 20 minutes by car with no direct buses: those arriving by plane depend on a taxi, a private transfer or their own rental car. The city's hotels, all clustered in the centre on the Ranfjorden fjord, remain the only sensible base anyway: there are no alternatives near the runway.
